moi: How much are the pink roses? [ back to top ] Thursday, April 16, 2009 It's my turn to cook dinner...
...and as always I am not too much into it. Klaus commenting on Flickr: The French knife impaling the pepper was made by Hans Birkendahl in Solingen, Germany. A privately owned small knife manufacturer who unfortunately does not seem to be in business anymore. I bought it (along with several other knives) in 1983 at a hotel/restaurant/chefs trade show. The other day I was talking to one of my running buddies and it occurred to me that I have knives that are older than she is. All of a sudden I felt really old... [ back to top ] Monday, April 13, 2009 Break in
This is how I was greeted this morning... My store was broken into over the long weekend. All they took was the 6 year old lap top with the point of sale software on it. It's all cool, I had it backed up. My other computer, with all the design work on it, was not touched. That machine was until Monday not backed up. I think I would have had a heart attack if that computer would have been stolen. It's all good now, the machine does now a nightly back up to an off site server.
After the clean up I had two buckets with broken glass. I put an ad on Craigslist. I was sure there would be an artist interested in that beautiful green glass. Klaus though I was loopy. Well, he was wrong. An artist did come to pick it up. He is planning to build a glass cube, put little lights in it and cover it all with the shattered glass. Grandiose, glad I could help. [ back to top ] Friday, April 10, 2009 Wonder + I love this Olympic commercial. [ back to top ] Thursday, April 9, 2009 The envelope
I kept the above envelope because of its lousy print job. It was obviously done before my time. Only today did I notice that there is a message below the upside down Olympic postage stamp... [ back to top ] Sunday, April 5, 2009 Paper

This salt shaker was borrowed from Rosi's next door. I fell in love with it because of the aluminum top. [ back to top ] Friday, April 3, 2009 Black & white

About 2010
2009 2008 2007 Photography is a way of feeling, of touching, of loving. What you have caught on film is captured forever... it remembers little things, long after you have forgotten everything.
