Saturday, August 30, 2009 Father and son
Thousands of AC/DC fans descended on our neighbourhood last night to attend the concert at BC Place Stadium. The crowd - in their mid thirties to fifties - was rather noisy. But I have to report that they went back to were they came from much faster than a few weeks ago the teenage admirers of Britney Spears. The OMG-crowd hung out on the street until the wee hours of the morning. My guess it all has to do with age. I love the image above even though it's not sharp. Daddy introducing his son to his childhood idols. [ back to top ] Monday, August 17, 2009 FINALLY!
Four years of building, three months ahead of schedule, and on budget if one believes the PR machine: we have public rapid transit from downtown to the airport and Richmond. Klaus and I took a ride tonight as it was the first day of operation. It was great. The four years of construction along Cambie Street was very interesting to witness. The train track are underground starting at Marine Drive. But in order to save money and time, the tunnel was not bored but cut and covered. This was a huge burden for all store and restaurant owners along Cambie Street. Many closed shop or moved. But from a spectator's point of view, the hole Canada Line construction was fascinating. One day I have to get a collection of my photographs together to illustrate the process. [ back to top ] Sunday, August 16, 2009 Farmer's Market in Gastown

About 2012
2011 2010 2009 2008 2007 Photography is a way of feeling, of touching, of loving. What you have caught on film is captured forever... it remembers little things, long after you have forgotten everything.
