Oscar night

orchid
I don't care much about who wins an Oscar and who does not. It really does not mean anything seeing on how they are being awarded. But speaking of the Oscars I would like to mention two extraordinary movies I have seen over the Christmas holidays: The Reader and Doubt. Both movies stood out because of their thought evoking stories and fantastic acting by Kate Winslet and David Kross and respectively Meryl Streep and Philip Seymour Hoffman.

For my beloved

The small moments in life

As I walked to the flower store today I saw a man at a bus stop nearby. One could tell by the way he looked at the pot of pink azaleas that he was overjoyed with his purchase. He was full of happiness, content and looking forward to give the flowers to his loved one.
He made me happy too.

Photography is a way of feeling, of touching, of loving. What you have caught on film is captured forever... it remembers little things, long after you have forgotten everything.
