Sunset Beach

Sunset Beach
Celebrating the International Pirate's Day with Leeanne, Roanna, Alex and Brian... or just another reason to party.

Postmortem from Alex: band of amigos!
that was perhaps the best pirate day i've had to date! arrrrrrrrrrr! as it turns out, it was indeed the "international talk like a pirate day". well done!
thanks so much for the excellent company - it was evening which made us really appreciate both where we live and the people we live with.
(...well maybe except for leeanne's guitar playing - but i'm willing help you leeanne if you want.)
awesome,
rolex

From Leeanne: ...i love it when a non-plan comes together. xo

My Iron Man

Klaus competed in his second Half Iron Man (2km swimming, 90 km biking, 22 km running) last weekend. He came in second in his age group and therefore qualified for the Triathlon-Weltmeisterschaften in Germany next year with the Canadian team. That's pretty darn cool!

Is Google broke?

So tonight I check my bank account as it is time to pay my VISA bill. As I glance over the overview I noticed the US account being in the minus. I did not give it much thought, as this is not possible. At first I thought I may have at one point transferred too much money. But then I realized, one is not able to do that.
After I figured out my VISA bill I open the mail. There was an envelope from my bank with an image of a bounced cheque. Since I don't use cheques to pay anything but only my Starbucks VISA, I thought: what the heck is this? Well it turns out that the last cheque from Google bounced. It was a lousy $214.00 cheque! I knew they could not afford what they paid for youtube!

Photography is a way of feeling, of touching, of loving. What you have caught on film is captured forever... it remembers little things, long after you have forgotten everything.
