[ calla PHOTO ] [ back to top ] Sunday, April 13, 2003 Court Orders Brothel to Refund Sex Bill BERLIN (Reuters) - A German court has ordered a brothel to reimburse a man charged for sex he could not remember having, after the establishment failed to provide an itemized receipt for services rendered. "The brothel failed to provide concrete documentation of the prices and services provided," said court spokesman Vera Huth in the western town of Duesseldorf on Friday. "They should have, for example, listed two sexual intercourse sessions at 600 euros, oral sex at 300 euros or anal sex at 400 euros a go," she told Reuters. The man told the court he had been too drunk to remember what sexual services he may have ordered at the brothel in Kaarst. The establishment charged him 9,000 euros (dollars) on his credit card. It took me a while to decide on my standing on the Gulf War II. In general I am against war. This may be because I am from a small neutral country. With this war in particular I have to ask myself who will be next? But on the other hand I life in Canada which is a Commonwealth country and of course neighbor the US. Canada decided not to partake in the war effort. I see this as the right decision. But I wish, for reasons mentioned above, Canada would morally support the United States and Britain. I find it embarrassing to listen to many of our diplomatically challenged politicians uttering their personal opinion in public. No matter if you agree or disagree with the American policies, keep it to yourself and most of all do not personally attack the President. [ back to top ] |
