Saturday, January 24, 2004 Lazy eBay sellers The Internet made the world smaller and products more accessible. Especially eBay is a big huge market or yard sale. Therefore I do not understand all the people, it's not just a few, that only offer their article to be shipped within their own country. Yesterday on German eBay I came across an old Christmas book I would love to bid on. The article description states though that the book will only be shipped to a German address. Since I have volume one of that book I really want to get the second book as well. So I wrote the lady if she may be willing to send the book to an address in Switzerland. This morning I received her response: I do not know how much postage would be to Switzerland. Well, thanks for nothing. I wish all these lazy sellers know that they lose money by restricting their product to bidders within their own country.
