Friday, March 26, 2004 Junk mail Starting today my subscription with Cloudmark is over. Cloudmark used to automatically move about 95% of all incoming spam into a junk folder. Even though I was not seeing all this nuisance in my inbox anymore, I still found that the spammers invaded my personal space. When I was away for two days it would take almost half an hour to download and filter my email. A few months ago my Internet service provider started filtering junk on their end. What a joy! My inbox does not get flooded with junk anymore. I once used to receive 180 junk mails per day and have now reached a new positive low of about five per day! That I can handle. [ back to top ] Monday, March 8, 2004 Chequing account I withdrew some money from an ATM today and while I was waiting for the machine to process the transaction, a bank receipt laying on top of the machine caught my attention. I am shocked and surprised to see her found guilty on all four charges she was accused of. I guess the American justice system is really serious on cracking down on white collar criminals.
