Junior Hockey Championship

Junior Hockey Championship

Yesterday we attended the game Switzerland vs. Norway. Armed with Swiss flags we supported our boys. It was worth the effort as they won 2:0.

Yesterday Switzerland played against Canada. The held up very well. Canada barely won 4:3.

Christmas starts

bed

Our yearly city sprawl led us down the usual path: Robson, Davie, Denman. We were too early for an afternoon drink at the Mansion. They did not open until 4 PM. So we enjoyed a Vodka Cranberry and a Mimosa at the Fairmont. Later of course a glass and the mandatory crab cakes at the bar of Joe Forte's. Dinner across the street at the Keg. And a night cap at the Westin bar.

The next morning we went for brunch to the Fairmont. The best brunch in town by far.

The evening we spent at Helga's and Emil's.

KLM

Tonight was the KLM Christmas Party. I was really not in the mood of going, as I was way too tired. But then when I opened the fridge to check if there is any food for dinner, I had the choice of either going to the store or the party. The party it was. And it turned out to be worthwhile...! I won two tickets to Amsterdam! I am totally exited about that!

Kuhglocken

Email ans Schweizer Konsulat in Vancouver

Guten Tag,

Wir gehen am 27. Dezember zur World Junior Hockey Championship hier in Vancouver.

DFA FEDERAL DEPARTMENT OF FOREIGN AFFAIRS
Consulate General of Switzerland
Vancouver, Canada
