Monday, July 23, 2007 Special We have an acquaintance who is a flight attendant travelling to Hong Kong a lot. She therefore brings a lot of bootlegged movies, fake watches and other things back. Last Christmas I noticed a bottle of sparkling Shiraz at the liquor store. It was by a local wine maker and the bottle cost $30.00. The wine was as delicious as it looked! In the meantime we found that Australian wine makers are producing sparkling Shiraz as well but for only about half the cost but with the same great taste. [ back to top ] Thursday, July 5, 2007 Moving VII Our counter counter offer was accepted and Dave from RE/MAX just dropped off the strata minutes to our hopefully new home at eight one nine Hamilton. We looked at three condos today over lunch. The first one was as cool as it gets (see left). It even had a built in entertainment unit with a massive flat screen TV. But the unit was too small. Unfortunately. The second apartment was not as cool but had a really nice layout. And we ended up putting an offer in for it. Now we are actually waiting for our real estate agent to call us back to let us know if our counter counter offer was accepted. And Klaus is serving sparkling Shiraz.
