Saturday, March 29, 2008 Earth what..?
Earth Hour in Vancouver was barely a success. TELUS Science World turned off the lights on the globe. BC Place Stadium turned of the massive advertising screen. City Hall was in the dark, but that is nothing new... [ back to top ] Saturday, March 22, 2008 Happy Easter!

[ back to top ] Monday, March 10, 2008 Bush is an idiot Well, that statement really is not news at all. But because of him we again changed to daylight savings time early. The switch happened the past weekend. This morning when the alarm clock went off I thought I got hit by a truck! Driving to work I was more asleep than anything else. Studies from last year have shown that we did not save more energy with the prolonged daylight savings time but more accidents occurred. That's just one reason why Bush is an idiot. [ back to top ] Sunday, March 9, 2008 Beggars can't be choosers is a saying we have in English. Friday night we walked home after a great dinner at the TCL. I had rotini on a cream sauce with filet tips. It was to die for. Since I was not able to finish my meal I had it packed to go. On the way home we came across a homeless person asking us for money because he was hungry. I offered him my meal which was still warm. He declined saying that he wants something from Tim Horton's (of all places...). I am sorry to say but if you decline a meal then you are not that hungry. Sunday at lunch time I was so looking forward to eat my pasta from the night before. As I opened the fridge it was nowhere to be found. To my great disappointment I had left it at the bar across the street where we had our night cap. On Saturday we had dinner at India Gate. Again I was unable to finish my dinner and had it packed to go. I planned to take it to work on Monday. But outside our building was our resident homeless guy, who asked me if he could have my take out. I said sure, it's butter chicken. He then said that he does not care what it is, but that he was very hungry and appreciates it. The guy outside our building is always very friendly and not in your face at all. One day I have to ask him what his story is. Obviously he has great stamina to sit outside on the pavement rain or shine, summer or winter. [ back to top ] Monday, March 3, 2008 Shangri-La
Shangri-La will be the tallest building in Vancouver with its 61 stories. The bottom part will be a luxury hotel and the floors 46 to 61 will be private residences for people with money, lots of money. From our apartment we are able to see just a tiny little bit of the building. [ back to top ] Sunday, March 2, 2008 La rose

About 2010
2009 2008 2007 Photography is a way of feeling, of touching, of loving. What you have caught on film is captured forever... it remembers little things, long after you have forgotten everything.
