The pick up slip

I received a pick up slip from Canada Post. The box that was marked was "parcel". That's when I knew it's a gift, as the only thing on it's way is my camera, and that box comes by UPS. Good thing Klaus mentioned that we now have to pick up our parcels on Granville Street and not in Yaletown anymore. Opposite direction! So off to the post office I go all happy because I knew it will be a surprise... and a surprise it was... Thanks Ivo!

After 12 years...

...and six Sony cameras later, I just ordered a Canon 7D, with 4 lenses and a shit load of accessories for less than $1800.00. A new era will begin.

Testing my Christmas gift

I love those two portraits. They just happened without planning and focusing.

My first gift of the New Year

New Year's resolutions

  • take more photography classes
  • start making money with photography
  • redesign and code CM from top to bottom with content management system
  • fix eyes and throw glasses out the window
  • go to a concert I waited 24 years for
  • become a vegetarian. Eh no..! But eat less meat and more rabbit food

Photography is a way of feeling, of touching, of loving. What you have caught on film is captured forever... it remembers little things, long after you have forgotten everything.
